Most important is, just to learn about them how they are. Your presence in Youtube but also here on your website made me to research deeper about cows. Of course I knew them from a farm I could visit in my childhood during summer holidays and back then I already loved cows. But due to the fact of living in a city, there were no cows I could visit and little did I know. Much later on my sister decided to get a b-friend who is farmer and owner of more than hundred cows. But just because of you I finally could figure out what lovely animals they really are.
But we also need to be aware of many other things happening to us and they are pretty bad. Animal issues is just one part of it.
It is highly recommended not to forget the history. Otherwise we will make the same stupid things over and over again. And people are surprised over and over again. If the business and money comes first, and the nature generally dies more and more every day on this planet, something definately goes wrong. Just take a look on a good map:

Was für ein schönes Bild zum neuen Jahr! Ich hoffe, der Prinz wurde nicht durch Silvesterknaller in seinem wohlverdienten Schlaf gestört. Und hat heute morgen das standesgemäße Frühstück gereicht bekommen:)
Mir geht es ähnlich wie Karsten: Als Stadtkind habe ich wenig Berührung mit Tieren. Hier auf eurer Seite habe ich vieles vor allem über die „großen Tiere“ gelernt. Daraus für sich die logischen Konsequenzen zu ziehen, ist dann eigentlich unabdingbare Folge.
